The strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards took effect under the Aged Care Act 2024 — seven Standards, restructured as Standard → Outcome → Action, with every provider assessed against them. Standard 2 puts responsibility squarely on the governing body. On the NDIS side, the 2026 integrity reforms lifted maximum civil penalties above $15 million.

Is this an audit?
No — and that distinction protects you. Attesta produces a Readiness Level, not a compliance determination. Only the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and approved NDIS quality auditors can determine conformance. What Attesta gives you is the honest, cited picture of what your documents evidence — and what they don't — before anyone with regulatory authority looks. Nothing in your Readiness Report goes to a regulator; it exists so you can fix gaps on your own timeline instead of theirs.
Do you see resident or participant records?
Never. Attesta ingests policies, procedures and governance documents only — the documents that describe how you operate, not the people you care for. Which standards does Attesta assess against?
The strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards (Aged Care Rules 2025) and the NDIS Practice Standards (NDIS Provider Registration and Practice Standards Rules 2018).
