Dual-registered providers

Two commissions. One evidence base. Stop doing the work twice.

If you deliver both residential aged care and NDIS supports, you answer to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission — two frameworks, two assessment cycles, and roughly 50% overlapping requirements buried in differently worded clauses.

The dual-registration tax

Same policy, assessed twice, maintained twice, gapped twice.

Your incident management policy has to satisfy Standard 2 of the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and the incident management requirements of the NDIS Practice Standards core module. Your governance framework, complaints procedure, workforce screening, infection control — the same story, across most of your document suite.

Most dual-registered providers handle this with two parallel compliance efforts: two mapping spreadsheets, two review calendars, and two consultants who don't talk to each other. Every policy revision has to be checked against both frameworks by hand — or, more often, isn't.

The failure mode: a policy gets updated to close an aged care finding, and quietly breaks its mapping to an NDIS quality indicator nobody re-checked. The gap stays invisible until an auditor you're paying for finds it.

The multi-standard engine

Upload once. Assess against both frameworks at once.

Both instruments come preloaded in Attesta — the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards (Aged Care Rules 2025) and the NDIS Practice Standards (NDIS Provider Registration and Practice Standards Rules 2018), reproduced unmodified from the Federal Register of Legislation. Attesta's multi-standard engine reads each of your documents against both frameworks in the same pass.

One upload, two readiness pictures

Separate Readiness Levels for your aged care and NDIS registrations, each with per-standard and per-module bars — from the same document suite, always in sync.

Cross-framework findings

Where one document serves both regulators, findings show both citations side by side. Fix it once and both bars move. Where the frameworks genuinely differ, Attesta says so explicitly.

Change without breakage

On the Governance plan, the policy currency monitor re-checks revised documents against both frameworks — so closing a gap for one commission can't silently open one for the other.

Every finding still carries the full trust architecture: a citation to the exact clause of the relevant instrument, a High / Medium / Low confidence indicator, and human sign-off — Accept, Reject or Defer. See the methodology.

Where to start

Priced for providers who run more than one framework.

Multi-standard assessment is included in the Governance plan at $795 per month per service, alongside multi-site support, the policy currency monitor, the evidence vault, the assessor question bank and a full audit trail. Groups running five or more services should talk to us about enterprise pricing.

Not sure where you stand? Start with a free snapshot on either framework — it takes an afternoon and costs nothing.

One evidence base, verified against both regulators — continuously.
